Christmas and New Year in the Peruvian Amazon

Comes flying in this hot and humid land of the Amazon the day of Christmas, very different from Christmas that I have lived in my land where almost snowing on Christmas Day, where thousands of lights in festive color the dark night of Christmas, where a thousand barrels of light to explode 12 of the night and where they often consume dinners and tables that could feed a whole community here in the south of the World!
How many waste, As consumerism and how many things they saw my eyes and here we are in the third world it all seems a bit different, perhaps more human scale ...
I wonder the true meaning of the gesture gifts Christmas traditions handed down from generation to generation ... maybe now that I'm older I see Christmas in a different way and maybe in this part of the world where life often becomes a luxury ... From everything looks different few days we have also organized a Christmas cioccolattata for small children living in extreme poverty, excited to see them with his eyes almost shiny in receiving a gift, chocolate and cake and hear their little voice that tells you ... THANK YOU is a great thrill. It makes you realize that the most beautiful thing in the world is not the DARE TO RECEIVE ...
A thousand emotions go from my head to my heart and give happiness to these little angels now becomes the only form that exists to give a True Value to my Christmas and why not at my small and humble life!
I thank God, destiny and fate that brought me here in this Forest, among these people, between these animals, among these wonderful plants and trees.
Perhaps this is the true spirit of Christmas a special day to share with your loved ones and those who have nothing but a smile, a kiss or a handshake from gift!!!
